“Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live.” Isaiah 55:3

I was overseeing a team of about 50 volunteers back in 2009. There were some peculiar things happening within the team, and a lot of restructuring as well. I can remember being frustrated, overwhelmed, confused, and having some fear over what was happening. I came home and was alone. I went back to my bedroom and as I was sitting down on the bed I spoke out loud and said to the Lord, “What are you doing?”

I immediately had an impactful vision. Before my eyes was a very large chess game all set up. Each piece was roughly 4 ft tall. As I was peering into the vision, I saw a large hand coming down out of the sky and it was about to pick up a rook when the vision ended. I did not hear a word but I knew exactly what the Lord was saying to me.

I knew at that moment that He was in charge and that He was moving the pieces. I had an incredible peace rush over me and all of the emotions that I had been experiencing were now gone. I spoke to the Lord and said, “Okay, I understand and can see what You are doing.” I didn’t have to figure anything out that was troubling me. I asked myself, “Why do I need to fear, when I know that He is in complete control and things are happening around me because He is doing them.”

Once I let go of all of it, in a very short time, it had all worked itself out. It turned out even better than what I expected. I have never forgotten the vision. 

Fast forward. I recently attended a Phil Wickham concert in Ypsilanti Michigan. The motel I was staying in had something very interesting by the elevator. After getting the key for my room, I walked over to the elevator and to my right was a chess game on a stand-up clear glass board in front of a window. (That is the picture at the top of the post.) When I saw it, it startled me. I had never seen a chess game like this before. I personally do not play chess basically because I’ve never learned how to play. I know that it requires a skill of strategic planning. 

From the moment I saw the board, I knew that the Lord was speaking to me but was not sure yet what He was saying. It didn’t come until I got home later and was in a quiet place when He revealed the message about the chessboard to me. His words were, “It is very clear and everyone can see what I am doing.” Based on what He had spoken to me before, I knew that He was still in control of everything. He is not hiding anything but all can see the plays and moves that He is making. I know that the season we are in is that we are in the last of the last days. 

Over the last couple of years. I have been watching Him speak to the world through things that are happening around the world. Because of our social media that we now have, when something happens it is seen and known to the entire world at the same time. I still find that to be so mind-boggling. Never would I have dreamed we’d be in a place where this could happen. We came from writing a letter taking months to cross the ocean for the recipient to receive it. Now as it happens the entire world can see it at the same time. It reminds me of the scripture.

“Many will go back and forth and knowledge will greatly increase.” Daniel 4:12 

I want to share a recent example of what I am saying about the whole world seeing the Lord speaking at the same time. 

We recently saw the news of the rescue of an airman, who was shot down in Iran. On April 6th, Pete Hegseth, our Secretary of War, compared the airmen rescue to Jesus’s resurrection. He said, “The airman was shot down on a Friday, hidden in a cave crevice all of Saturday, rescued on Sunday and flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter morning,” As I watched and listened to this I had chills. 

In addition to what he saw, I saw something else, and it refers to this scripture. 

“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient towards you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9

When I read the statistics of what it took to rescue that one man I could not believe it. We sent hundreds of planes to rescue one man. Every part of the rescue required a miracle and they got them all. It was an impossible situation to rescue this one man, but I believe with all my heart God allowed each and every miracle to show the picture that He will go to any lengths to rescue anyone who would cry out to Him. It’s the parable of, “The Lost Sheep.”

At the time that it happened, I said to the Lord, “You are screaming this message to the world. You are in control. You came. You died. You were resurrected for the sole purpose of rescuing every single soul. Not leaving one behind.” I have never said this before about one of my posts, but I think this message is so important to get out to everyone who will listen. I want to encourage you to share this with as many people as you can. Let them know that God is speaking incredible messages to the world so that everyone will be ready for His soon and coming return. I am in no way predicting a date of when He will return. I am only saying and doing what scripture says that I can.

That is, I can know the season that we are in with His return. 

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; even so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.” Matthew 24:32-33

“Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22
