Hi my name is Dianna DeYoung and I would like to share a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in a very small town called, Central Lake. It is located in the upper northwest part of the beautiful state of Michigan. I come from a family of ten. Mom, Dad and eight kids. I was second to the last in the line up. We all lived in a very small home that was built mostly by the hands of my father. Our home sat on roughly four acres of land. We had a small working farm with cows, chickens, fruit trees and an enormous garden.

At least as a young kid picking the produce, it seemed enormous. Living in a large family everyone had chores. I am so thankful for this because it gave me a good work ethic later in life.

  The home that I grew up in was a Christian home. Sadly though I did not except the Lord into my life until I was a senior in high school. It wasn’t until much later that my walk with the Lord grew immensely. I was married right out of high school. Four baby boys followed soon afterwards. I was a stay at home mom. When my youngest was five I got involved and started volunteering for a ministry called, Operation Christmas Child. I loved it. It changed my life. It is where my faith walk with the Lord was started. I have witnessed so many miracles and His faithfulness over and over again.

  This is the reason for the two books that I authored. I had to tell of His goodness and faithfulness in my life that continues to this day. There is a link on the home page for purchasing the books. After the second book was done I felt the Lord leading me to start a blog. And so my story continues. My prayer is that this blog will bring you closer to the Lord each time you read it.
