“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

“Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”

1 Thessalonians 5:24

     I believe we are in the last, of the last days. Jesus’s return is at the door. Myself and all those that I come in contact with I am seeing Philippians 1:6 playing out. The Lord said He is coming back for a spotless bride.

“That He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” Ephesians 5:27

In myself He is continuing to change, clean and perfect me. I see the same is happening with those that are around me. I see Him working in their hearts and minds making them more like Him. It is so exciting for myself and for those that I am watching this happen to. He will do this work right up to the very moment that we are taken up to be with Him forever. What peace it brings to know that He will be faithful to make us ready. 

Over the last 15 years I have been experiencing Him bringing things to the surface that I need to deal with. I then allow Him to rid me of these things that are hindering me in my walk with Him. As eternity is on my mind, it is easier and easier to let things go. I feel lighter as they leave and I experience more freedom.

When that awesome day comes and I stand before Him, I want to hear the words, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

As we see that final day approaching I want to encourage you to continue to allow the Lord to do his perfect work in you!

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your mercy, oh Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of your hands.” Psalms 138:8
