Experience the abundant life He came to give us

Make It a Wall of Fire Around You

I have talked about this before how God’s word is literally life. It carries such a strong powerful force to strengthen and build us up. It also holds back the evil one. Many years back when I was going through difficult trying times I grabbed ahold of some verses. I would speak these verses out loud as a proclamation. As I spoke out these words I believe it became a wall of fire of protection around me. The words that I spoke are as follows:

Greater is He that is in me then he that is in the world.

No weapon formed against me will prosper.

If He is for me who can be against me.

He will never leave me nor forsake me.

The following is the scripture verse for each one:

“You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you then he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

“No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me, declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?” Romans 8:31

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the One who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Whenever I spoke out this proclamation peace would enter into me and it would dispel anything that was trying to pull me down.

The Bible says the Lord is my strong tower and I will run into Him. I love the response that Peter gave when Jesus asked the disciples the question. You do not want to go away also do you? Peter said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.”

Lord, thank you for standing with us when we desperately need you. Thank you for being that wall of fire of protection around us. Thank you for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Truly you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

“The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.”

Psalms 118:14
