“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3
When I look back at where I was and where I am now, what an incredible difference. God has done such a deep powerful work in my soul. I desperately wanted and needed that change and over the years He has done it. I have not arrived, there’s still so much more work to be done. But where I’m at today, and where I was, an exchange happened. The exchange is a well for the pit!
When I think of the pit I am reminded of Pig Pen from the peanuts. His character sketch always had what looked like a cloud of dirt around him. Every step he took the cloud stayed right with him. When I was in the pit I had that cloud of fear, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, anxiety, depression all around me.
I am no longer there and I am living in the well. I made the great exchange. The well is the spring of fresh living water coming from the Lord Himself. There is no bottom to it so you can drink very deeply. I drink from that well every day. The well is full of life, joy, peace, strength, vision, hope and faith.
My story was so full of despair, but I find that He is rebuilding my story. My story is so full of life and blessings now. It is without borders! He is giving me the promises that His word says He will give!
“And I will restore to you the years the locusts have eaten.” Joel 2:25
“The latter glory of this house will be greater than of the former, says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.” Haggai 2:9
“Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19
“But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
