“And I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26

In my last post I shared how we had just completed our new addition to the pole barn. We were so thankful for the new room. We are right now finishing up our 5,000 boxes that we are packing this year. Miraculously God gave us all the provisions that we needed for this year. As my thoughts are now looking out ahead to next year, I shot up a prayer.

I never assume year to year I will continue on. I always seek the Lord to see if that is what He wants me to do. It’s never about me. It’s all about Him. So I asked the question, “Lord am I to do shoe boxes next year?” Within just a few days the answer came! It was a resounding, “Yes.”

Shortly after I shot up the prayer we had a garage/bake sale in the pole barn to raise money for OCC. It was a one day sale. I am now sitting at my kitchen table counting all the money from the sale. We made $1,800!! That was so miraculous I could hardly believe it. Right after the money was counted my phone rang. It was my sister letting me know she was donating $1,000 for the shoe boxes! At that moment I knew God was saying I was to continue doing the shoe boxes. What happened next and it really hasn’t stopped yet left me in awe.

The very next morning I went into work and over 100 new child size t-shirts had been donated to the store the day before. I was able to take them home for the boxes. To me another sign from God, yes. Within 15 minutes I got a text from one of my OCC ladies and she said, “I’m going to Walmart to buy 700 boxes of crayons for next year’s boxes.” I said to the Lord, “I got it. I’m doing boxes next year!” When I got home from work and got the mail there was a $1,000 check in the mail. Money and items have just continued to pour in for next year’s boxes. We have never had such an outpouring like this before. I truly feel it’s because we are in the last days and the gospel message has never been more important. The window of opportunity is closing fast!

It is so exciting when you are in the center of His will! You can be assured where He guides He provides. That is why it is so important for me to only step out if I know 100% it’s Him doing it. Like Moses I say, “If You don’t go before me I’m not going.”

I would like to end with sharing a vision I had just a few days after the outpouring started. I feel it sums it up what the Lord is saying to us for next year’s boxes.

I saw a huge cloak falling down from heaven and landed on all us ladies as we were in a huddle in the middle of the pole barn together. Once the cloak landed and completely covered us the cloak turned into Roman shields. The shields formed a testudo formation. In other words a tortoise shell. I believe it is Him saying, ” I’m giving you the provision (all the items pouring in), the power and authority (definition of a cloak) and protection (cloak turning into shields).

How could we ever say no to that! He has done great things and Holy is His name!
