Experience the abundant life He came to give us

In The Beginning

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth. Praise to our God; many see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.” Psalms 40:1-3

Why am I doing a blog? Goodness knows this was not my idea or doing. You see, in and of myself, I have nothing to offer. But when I am linked up with Him, He has so much to give! I feel He has called me to share with others the amazing journey I have been on with Him. This blog is all about Him and the abundant life that He has given me and is continuing to give. He wants everyone to experience this kind of life.

John 10:10 “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly!”

My life is so abundant! It is so full of His goodness and faithfulness. So full of His miraculous provision and tender care. None of this I deserve or merit. But He gives it all freely because of His amazing love. I am not special in any way. He gives this to everyone without showing partiality.

The two books that I authored, “Totally Surrendered and Completely His” and “Abundant Life” are a witness and testimony of who He is and what He does. After the first book was written I had so many people say to me, “The book is amazing but, how can I have that life?” So the second book was birthed in response to that question. In the book I share the keys the Lord gave me all along the way to get me out of the pit of offence and moving forward in the call that is on my life.

There was a lot in my past that led me to fall into the pit and stay there for a long time. I was fully responsible for being in the pit. I was stuck and miserable. It wasn’t until I was filled with the Holy Spirit that I was then able to get out of the pit. With the keys that I was given from the Lord I was then able to stay out of the pit. I was able to move forward and fulfill each day what the Lord had planned for me before I was even born.

Psalm 139:16 “Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in thy book were all written, the days that were written for me, when as yet there was not one of them.”

When the Lord called me to write the first book I argued with Him for over a year. I had no idea how to write nor did I want to write. Secondly I did not have the finances to write one. None of those things stopped Him from doing what He wanted to do. I had only to obey His prompting and He would do the rest. He did it in a miraculous way. As I began writing the first book I just kept telling myself, “Hurry and get this done because you will not ever have to do this again!” Little did I know that God had other plans. Yes, another book. As I began writing the second book I said to myself, “Just get it done you won’t have to ever write again!” Wrong! He now has turned it into a blog!

That is the back story for the blog. When the book writings ended my story did not. He is still writing my story. Everyone has a story that needs to be told. Our story or testimony is real and I believe people can relate to that. They can find themselves somewhere in the story. A story can bring hope, strength, joy and peace. It can breathe life back into the soul.

Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.”

I would like to now start where my last book left off. What I will be sharing is the continuing story of what God is doing in my everyday life. As I stay in a place of full surrender and obedience He shows up. What follows is nothing short of miraculous! In that place of surrender and obedience there is powerful revelation from Him as well. Please hear me, what I share I am speaking to myself first. I am not perfect, but I do have holy intention and holy determination. My prayer for the blog is that it will lead you to Him and strengthen your relationship with Him. I also pray that you will be encouraged, inspired and find great hope in Him.

Welcome to abundant life!
